About the firm

We are a growing, well-established, and award-winning financial planning firm bringing a private banking style service, offering a comprehensive range of bespoke solutions, to our predominantly high net worth private clients. The client relationship lies at the heart of everything we do and will play a large part in the everyday duties of our new client administrator. This role would be perfect for someone who is experienced, bright, and enthusiastic and wishes to develop their career in a leading financial planning business.

Working in a small and growing team, this role will provide top level administration support to two independent financial advisers. Client service lies at the heart of this role and the varied duties will include:

Client servicing

  • Preparing new business and review packs for client meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate client files and create timely updating of fact finds, preparing valuations and obtaining illustrations.
  • On-going client servicing.

New business processing

  • Record new business, on back-office systems.
  • Liaise with product providers to ensure all applications are completed.

Team assistance

  • Working with the advisers to organise their meetings, diaries and tasks.
  • Ensure advisers produce meeting follow ups to client meetings.
  • Managing adviser diaries.

Correspondence and client files

  • Linking incoming and outgoing documentation.
  • Ensuring all electronic files are organised and updated.

Compliance

  • Ensuring all tasks are completed within FCA regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all client dealings are appropriate and entirely factual.

Essential skills

  • Two years’ experience in a similar role working for a financial advice firm.
  • Experience in providing an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Highly organised and good time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Articulate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work within defined business processes.
