Foreman

We are currently seeking a Groundworks Site Supervisor to join our team working on new home sites across the South Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the groundworks phase of the construction process, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervising and managing the groundworks team on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

- Coordinating with other site teams and the project manager to ensure that the groundworks phase is completed on time and to the required quality standard.

- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications.

- Monitoring and reporting on progress to the project manager and escalating any issues that arise.

- Ensuring that all equipment and materials are available on site when required.

- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers where required.

- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry.

- Knowledge of all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, foundations, concrete works and landscaping.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage a team effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
