We build temporary structures for prestigious clients across the UK and Europe, and are looking to appoint a proactive Marquee Erector to our growing team.
This role involves working both on-site at events and in our warehouse to ensure the smooth build and deconstruction of our high-quality event structures. Whether you’re loading vehicles, assembling equipment, or ensuring Health & Safety standards are met, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week position, with extended hours and weekend working (including bank holidays) to be expected, especially during our April – October peak-season.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work as part of an experienced team with the Senior Foreman and other Marquee Erectors.
- To follow the Chord methodology and best practice when handling kit – we take our time, do not cut corners to avoid potential risk of injury and damage to equipment.
- To build and deconstruct our structures at designated site locations and ensure that all tasks are accurately carried out with due care and attention.
- To follow procedures (company and legislative) and Health & Safety rules while on site.
- To report any issues or concerns to the Foreman/Operations Manager - both on site and in the warehouse.
- To attend team briefings prior to any jobs commencing and debriefing meetings following every dismantle.
- To assist with loading all vehicles at the yard ready for departure for a job.
- To be on stand-by rota for live days.
- To assist in topping up materials/tools/stock in all vehicles at the end of each job.
- To take part in the cleaning of equipment when required.

The Person
- Full, clean driving licence and means of transportation.
- Proactive, self-starter.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – to be able to work with everyone in the team, clients and suppliers.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home, when required.
- We aim to minimise manual handling wherever possible, however, there will still be a large element of manual handling, so the candidate will need to be physically fit and prepared for this.
- MEWPs, Forklift, NPORS/equivalent certificates are desirable.
- Relevant industry experience is desirable.
