Crop Protection Supervisor?? Location: West Sussex? Full-time, 39+ hours per week (includes overtime and occasional weekend rota)

Do you have a green thumb and a knack for keeping plants thriving? Our client, part of a larger group of nurseries, grow over 3 million pots annually for garden centres and retailers across the UK-and they're on the lookout for a Crop Protection Supervisor to join the team.

What you'll do:

  • Take the lead on crop protection activities across all sites.
  • Plan, monitor, and oversee the use of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
  • Work closely with stock control, production, and despatch teams to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Help develop a flexible, capable team with strong cover for absences.
  • Collaborate with other nurseries in the group when needed.

You'll play a vital role in safeguarding the health and quality of our crops while keeping things efficient and well-coordinated.

  • Experience in horticulture (PA1 and PA6 are must-haves).
  • Top-notch numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
  • Leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
