Network Engineer - NHS
Our client a large private sector consultancy who support NHS organisations require a Network Engineer to provide efficient, professional and well-co-ordinated Network BAU support.
- The management and operations of network devices within the supported environment
- Specific skills in maintaining Switches and Firewalls, in order to monitor and maintain the performance of associated services in terms of their contribution to business performance and their sustainability
- Maintain and adapt specific networking infrastructure standards, including operational and technical documentation, compliance with organisational and technical standards, processes and procedure.
The Network Engineers will contribute to the performance of Network Operations, focusing on Networking technologies including:
- WAN, LAN and associated components such as VPN and Wireless technologies
- Cisco support
- Switching and Routing infrastructure
- Firewalling technologies
- Best operational practices of a scale environment
Skills Required working in a Network Engineer capacity:
- Switches/Routers
- Monitoring and management
- Configuration and appropriate connectivity design
- Wireless Networking
- Multiple SSID deployment and management
- Appropriate AP deployment
- Monitoring of usage and performance

This is 50/50 remote and onsite role.
