JOB –Quality Engineer LOCATION – WorthingTERM- PermanentSALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Worthing / Brighton area with experience in the manufacturing industry. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Quality engineering and inspection team.The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • 2 years’ experience or more in a similar Quality Engineer position.
  • Knowledge of various Quality Engineering tools
  • Understanding of either AS9100, IATF16949 or ISO13485 standards.
  • Familiar with inspection tools and processes.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with the auditing process.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with dealing with assembly or injection moulding processes – beneficial.
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
  • Assisting the Quality Management team with Auditing processes.
  • Monitor manufacturing to ensure products are conforming to regulations.
  • Liaising with suppliers to address quality issues of inbound goods.
  • Undertaking continuous improvement activities.
  • Support the manufacturing departments with corrective actions.
