Head of Warehouse & Fulfilment - Beauty FMCG

As Head of Warehouse Operations this is a lynchpin role in my client’s business. Leading a strong and highly effect team this role overarches all areas of the warehouse and fulfilment function. The key objective being to ensure superb customer satisfaction whether that be DtC or BtB.
Scope of responsibilities include:
- Leading an overall function of up to 30 with direct reports of 3 Team Leaders.
- Ensuring operational efficiency; leading the team, training and monitoring
- Developing robust standard operating procedures
- Managing inventory and logistics; managing 3PL relationships
- Maintaining a safe and health working environment
- Management of the light assembly operation
- Site security
- Leading on projects from a functional perspective, such as new IT implementations
- Working as an effective member of the SLT; in particular, close collaboration with Customer Services & Operations
The ideal person will be an experienced warehouse manager who comes from the Beauty sector or a similar luxury consumer product environment where attention to detail, high focus on quality and delighting the end user is strong.
