Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with a background in injection moulding and medical devices? We're seeking a Technical Manager to join our clients specialised medical device manufacturing facility in West Sussex.

As Technical Manager, you'll lead the manufacturing operations, overseeing production teams and ensuring the highest standards of quality in medical device manufacturing. This position is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to bring fresh perspectives to our established operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage production teams across shifts, ensuring optimal performance and maintaining high quality standards
  • Oversee tooling management and maintenance programs to maximize production efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing regulations and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Supervise and develop a team of skilled Setters

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in injection moulding, preferably in medical device manufacturing
  • Strong toolmaking background with hands-on technical expertise
  • Proficient in CAD software and project planning tools
  • Proven experience implementing Lean techniques and 5S methodology
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements
