Job Opportunity: Customer Retention Insight Specialist

Are you ready to drive strategic insights and shape the future of client retention and loyalty for a leading automotive ownership services organisation? We're seeking a proactive Customer Rentention Insight Specalist to work closely with our Retention and Ownership Programmes Managers, alongside global regional teams. Your work will reinforce our Ownership Services strategy, driving long-term client retention, loyalty, and achieving targets for parts, accessories, and contributions.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and deliver key market intelligence reports regularly, including competitor analysis, consumer behavior insights, and product development trends.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses of the automotive industry, focusing on product innovation, global/local market trends, client segments, and the competitive landscape to guide business decisions.
  • Build a robust market intelligence function to provide regional managers with actionable insights on market dynamics, helping retain existing clients and attract new business.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track strategic objectives, and create new reporting tools to measure action effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Client Experience, and Brand teams to explore business opportunities and identify new sales channels.
  • Offer strategic guidance on industry partnerships and opportunities.
  • Attend industry events to extract insights and develop practical outputs that impact strategy.
  • Standardise and document processes, tools, and workflows within Business Development to align with best practices.

Your Background:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence, ideally within the automotive or related industries.
  • A proven track record in delivering insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Expertise in analysing multiple data sources to solve complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an accessible way.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to impact P&L positively.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and skilled in analytic tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce reporting.
  • Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
