Our client, a key player in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their team in Pulborough. This permanent role offers a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics
- Schematic entry from design engineering sketches
- Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information
- Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials
- Maintaining PCB library
- Maintaining the DCC drawing system
- Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules
- Adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems
Job Requirements:
- HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design
- Knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are advantageous)
