Our client, a key player in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a PCB Design Engineer to join their team in Pulborough. This permanent role offers a hybrid working environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics
  • Schematic entry from design engineering sketches
  • Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information
  • Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials
  • Maintaining PCB library
  • Maintaining the DCC drawing system
  • Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules
  • Adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems


Job Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design
  • Knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are advantageous)
