Are you an experienced Workshop Manager from a background in Evacuation Slides looking for a brilliant opportunity to lead a business expansion project that comes with an generous remuneration package?

This company are a rapidly expanding and diversifying SME specialising in Evacuation Slides for a range of Aviation companies. With a supply of a range of Airbus and Boeing applicable slides, they look to bring more of the process in house to improve their quality and lead times, prompting further growth.

This role will see the suitable individual establish a new Repair Workshop for Evacuation Slides to bring business operations in house, enabling a control in quality and lead times. The suitable candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Evacuation Slides as well as a business mindset, where critical decision making is comfortable and an outlook securing future growth is paramount.

If you are an experienced Workshop Manager with experience in Evacuation Slides

The Role:

  • Assist in leading the creating of a Evacuation Slide Repair Workshop
  • Assist in future hiring and management of the workshop
  • Assist hands on with the repair of slides as required
  • Build a team based on positive morals, information sharing and enabling one another's success
  • Assist with the purchasing of all relevant equipment to establish the workshop
  • Liaise with the CEO and MD to develop a business structure, and development plan
  • Continue to suggest capability expansions as the workshop develops
  • Any other duties as required by the CEO and MD to see the successful startup and growth of the workshop facility

The Person:

  • Proven experience working with evacuation slides
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role
  • Drive and determination to establish a new business
