Our innovative client are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their expanding team! The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, assemblies, and support services required for production. This role involves managing supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, controlling inventory levels to prevent shortages, and maximizing inventory turns, whilst gaining and broadening their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities for the Purchasing Administrator:

  • Prepare and distribute weekly expedite reports to supply chain partners, ensuring prompt responses and data entry into the ERP system.
  • Placing purchase orders to ensure cost-effective, timely delivery.
  • Preparing document packs, inclusive of drawings and BOMs to support custom part orders.
  • Managing selected supplier relationships to control inventories and ensure timely material flow.

 

Qualifications required for the Purchasing Administrator opportunity:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Prior experience in raising Purchase Orders in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient communication skills, with the ability to excel in a Team dynamic.
  • Emphasis on Detail-orientation with organisational skills.
  • Proactive and responsive attitude.
