Cedar Recruitment are currently Recruiting for X2 Procurement and Contracts Managers to work for a Public Health Client of ours, across either the ICT or Clinical Category.

The role is working Permanently, and will require you to go onto the office in Sussex 2 days per week with 3 days working from home.

The role is offering between£46,000-£52,000 per annumas well as staff discounts, a generous pension contribution and 27 days annual leave + bank holidays.

You will lead on sourcing, tendering and quotation exercises via different routes to market such as frameworks and open tenders. The role also will involve leading on contract management activities with key suppliers, and managing members of the purchasing team. You will be required to work closely with the stakeholders and make efficiencies and cost savings for the organisation.

You'll also be required to support the Head of Procurement with the management and development of the procurement team. Also working strategically, inputting to the development and reporting of an agreed procurement plan as well as Identifying areas for future opportunities - increasing the procurement pipeline.

Required Experience:

  • Experience of completing end to end procurement projects
  • Working knowledge of public sector procurement (PCR2015)
  • Experience of working on multiple procurement projects at once
  • Be able to your prioritise workload and maintain robust stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of working across either the Clinical OR ICT category
