Job Description
(ICA) Engineer is responsible for installation, modification, repairing & commissioning electro-mechanical & PLC control systems, instrumentation & electrical infrastructure across industrial process plants, as well as water treatment & supply sites. Primarily throughout the South of England, but with potential for further travel.
The role requires experience with MCCs, Control Panels and telemetry systems, motors, digital & analogue signals, copper and fibre ethernet networks and electrical installations to BS7671.
A working knowledge of PLCs/PID controllers and automation of industrial process plant equipment such as pumps &, motors, flow/level/pressure/ temperature/quality instruments, as well as chemical dosing systems, is essential.
You will be able to work from electrical schematics/wiring diagrams, cable schedules, panel/enclosure designs, interface drawings, loop drawings, P&ID's and cable block diagrams, etc. as required by the project.
Working closely with our technical delivery teams to ensure projects are completed to the relevant standards, specifications, programme and budgets, while working closely with clients and project delivery teams to ensure designs are adhered to, giving technical assistance where required. They must ensure good communication with other departments, so that potential problems can be identified before they impact on any contracts.

Qualifications / Experience
Strong Electrical Engineering background
Ideally qualified to at least HNC / HND Level
Knowledge of Control Panels & MCCs
IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
Valid CSCS/ECS card
Experience of safe systems of work and the application of H&S standards.
PLC programming and SCADA configuration with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider or Mitsubishi is preferred
