The Sales Account manager will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with customers, development of new customers, ensuring their requirements are met efficiently. As a sales administrator you will be responding to customers enquiries and quotations, maintaining databases and supporting Business development managers.
Sales Account Manager responsibilities:
- Promote relevant products, solutions, and technologies to both existing and potential clients
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various market sectors
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
Skills & experience required:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- Highly organised with excellent time management abilities
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen interest in technology and business development
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of barcoding and labelling systems is advantageous but not essential
