We are looking for professional, forward thinking and committed Teachers of English who are looking for an exciting new role teaching to students across Year 7 - 11 for schools across West Sussex.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective English lessons for students in Years 7-11, in line with the national curriculum
  • Take part in departmental and school-wide initiatives
  • Be a key member of the team contributing new ideas throughout the school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desired but not essential
  • Prior experience in a similar KS3/KS4 teaching role
  • A current DBS check on the update service
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A brilliant team player
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong values with the commitment to provide support to all students
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students in Years 7-11, according to the national curriculum
