Red Sky are currently recruiting for a Service & safety Administrator for a market leading Ground Support Equipment (GSE) company based at Gatwick Airport. The main purpose of this role is to establish and maintain control of all SAP Systems and Safety on Site.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

      To liaise with customers regarding the status of all vehicles, routine maintenance, and damage repair

Liaise with Workshop Supervisor and Operations Manager for an overview of the status of equipment.

Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure returned equipment is processed in terms of identifying liability and ensuring sufficient capacity. 

Check to ensure all collections and deliveries of GSE has been carried out as agreed

Create services/jobs in SAP and raise purchase orders as required

Update service schedules as required

Collate all hour meter readings and refuelling data for input into SAP

Book subcontractors for work

Dealing directly with manufacture and UK Fleet Manager with regards to warranty claims

Provide initial quotes to customers for approval

Ensure customer dials are managed and updated daily

Dealing with all audits - customer and airlines

Assist in the creation of status reports

Liaise with the customer to alert them to the forecast return due date for out of service GSE

Maintain records of work done including cost, date in/out and any other relevant information

Report on a routine basis to the Operations Manager and Workshop Supervisor.

Ensure Safety Site schedule is updated and Compliant

About you?

      Understanding of motor mechanics (desirable)

Understanding of workshop procedures and systems

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Literate, numerate and analytical

Good knowledge of health and safety regulations

Good knowledge of excel, word, outlook, etc.

Experience of working in a customer focused pressurised environment
