My client is seeking a dynamic Vehicle Technician to join their rapidly growing company in Storrington.
The position requires candidates to have a Level 2 or 3 qualification and offers a salary between £34,000 and £54,000, depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, diagnosing issues, discussing repairs with customers, and performing maintenance tasks.
Candidates must have their own tools, transportation, and a full driver's license, while an MOT license is a bonus.
This is a full-time, permanent role with no weekend work, and benefits include yearly bonuses and time off during Christmas and New Year.

The Role: Vehicle Technician

The Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18:00 (No weekends)

Location: Storrington

Salary: £34,000 - £54,000 (Depending on what level qualification)

Job role

Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work
Discussing required repairs with customers where applicable
Always Liaising with Office Manager during work process
Repairing or replacing components as required where permission is granted
Road testing vehicles to test repair work
Performing service checks
Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required
Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment
Have the flexibility to work all makes and models of vehicles

Candidate requirements:

Must have own Tools
Own Transport
Full Drivers Licence
Level 2 or 3 Qualified. Master tech would need to provide evidence of Master Tech qualification
MOT licence not essential but would be a bonus
Own appropriate work boots and work trousers/shorts
