About the Company:

Our client specialises in the assembly and testing of high-performance hydraulic pumps, motors, electrical generators, and other components crucial for operating flight control systems in both civil and military aircraft. Renowned as an industry leader in aerospace hydraulic systems, they take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable products currently utilized in a variety of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.

Responsibilities:
As a Test Technician, you will be an integral part of a versatile team responsible for testing hydraulic motors and pumps for both civilian and military applications. Operating in a high-tempo, fast-paced test facility, safety and attention to detail are paramount, aligning with MAA and CAA operating practices. Timely delivery is a key focus.

Key Job Duties:

  • Mounting and removing hydraulic components on test stands
  • Adhering to detailed test specifications and operating bespoke test control panels for test sequences
  • Recording all test performance parameters
  • Completing relevant documentation manually and electronically
  • Ensuring the integrity and quality of products and documentation at all times


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Experience in testing hydro/mechanical products
  • Previous exposure to the Aerospace Industry or MOD establishments
  • Familiarity with rotating electrical machines, motors/generators
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, TPM, etc.)


Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK, adhering to ITAR restrictions.
