Site Project Manager
We are now looking for the above role to lead, oversee and deliver on all engineering small-to-medium scale projects at the Purfleet location (i.e. Installation of new process equipment & utilities, construction & upgrades to manufacturing & office facilities).
Your Responsibilities- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, costing and monitoring of engineering projects at the Purfleet location.
- Partnering with the key stakeholders in Purfleet & Operations in terms of project pre-mortems, needs, requirements, objectives and expectations.
- Ensuring all new installations/projects are compliant with legislative & ADM guidance on Health, Safety and Environment, Quality, HACCP and GMP and any other relevant policies or procedures.
- Ensure all work conducted as part of the project by both internal and external colleagues is completed in compliance with all ADM H&S and TPS standards (considering aspects such as IPPC permits, Work Orders, LOTO, etc)
- Formulating project parameters, phases and elements and assigning responsibilities as appropriate.
- To establish inspection criteria to ensure the successful, efficient & safe implementation of all Projects under scope at Purfleet.
- Ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget and taking remedial action where required.
- To co-ordinate the development of all necessary documentation for commissioning, training and maintenance related to the project and its post-completion and ensuring this is maintained.
- Reporting/updating key stakeholders as appropriate on project status.
- Utilising appropriate ADM software such as MAXIMO & WAVE.
- To continually analyse the ongoing success/quality of projects including post-project follow up utilising metrics and data as appropriate.
- To manage/supervise any external contractors being utilised for project execution.
- To collaborate with procurement/finance and project needs.
- To maintain good lines of communication with all departments including production, H&S, Quality, CAPEX. maintenance & commercial.
- Actively looking for continuous improvement opportunities and efficiency improvements on site whilst contributing to and supporting the Performance Excellence work at Purfleet.
- To play a key and active role in the Purfleet Management team, attending meetings and representing the site as and when required.
- Educated to degree level in an engineering or technical discipline.
- Good engineering experience in a manufacturing/production operations environment.
- Experience working with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
- An understanding of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety legislation.
- Experience in Engineering Project Management is desirable.
- Supervisory experience is desirable
- Knowledge of Maximo, WAVE and SAP is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
