Salary: £ Negotiable depending on experience.

About Us: Gavin Martin Colourant are a leading UK based printers who produce high quality luxury print for a variety of high end clients.

Job Purpose: To produce digital print on HP Indigo Digital Printing Presses, to industry leading standards, in a high quality busy environment.

What we are looking for: Experience in OPERATNG hp Indigo 7900. Knowledge of Repro and setting files up for Print and Personalisation would be advantageous, however, we are willing to train the right candidate for these areas. The ability to manage your own workload and to work within a team to meet project deadlines. With the ability to be flexible, co-operative and willing to work extra hours as required to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Experience of digital printing within the print & packaging industry.

  • Experience repro software and setting up jobs for print including personalisation would be an advantage.

  • Responsible for quality throughout the run as well as efficiencies, safety, and housekeeping.

  • Ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality level and that the quality procedures are followed.

  • Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.

  • Relay information through the specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.

  • Self-motivated individual who pays close attention to detail.

  • Ability to be flexible.

  • Excellent communicator to all levels of Managers and Employees.

  • Able to follow instructions and complete within a given timeline.
