Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Cleaning Operative to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the warehouse. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and clean working environment for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Warehouse Areas: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust surfaces; clean windows and other warehouse fixtures.
Trash and Waste Management: Empty bins, dispose of waste materials, and ensure proper segregation and recycling.
Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and restrooms.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order.
Restroom and Breakroom Cleaning: Keep restrooms and breakrooms clean, stocked, and sanitized.
Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
Experience: Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Attention to Detail: High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with good time management skills.
Health and Safety Awareness: Understanding of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.
