Electro Mechanical Technician
Overview of Role- Detect and analyse reported product issue on systems and products returned to Service Department.
- Address issue/s through resolution ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard and to customer satisfaction.
Principle Responsibilities:-
To carry out duties instructed by your line supervisor in accordance with company requirements.
Those duties will include, but are not limited to the following:-
- Read & understand schematics and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part, component or system to ensure that products and parts meet quality standards.
- Inspect and examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. Ensure that assembly is followed to that assembly instruction using parts specified Notify supervisor of defect detection and help to analyse and correct production problems
- Install electronic parts and hardware, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Test the performance of assemblies, using test instruments as specified in assembly instructions and /or on test sheets
- Analyse and record test results, complete any required written documentation
- Produce entire products or sub assembly components dependent on.
Work Instruction (WI)
- Maintain equipment
- Cut, position, align, fit ,fasten and install parts
- Small -scale production of electronic devices - wiring, precision assembling.
- Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
- Conduct quality control checks
- Clean and maintain work area, tools and other equipment
- When needed, operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
Job Description
- Have a positive attitude and provide a high level of customer service to all customers, staff and external providers.
- Mon- Fri 8.00 -5.00pm
- Overtime as required Sat 8.00-12.00pm
