Location: Purley, Surrey
Salary: Permanent - up to £31,500 per annum
Hours: 4 days per week

About the Role:
As a Senior Residential Children’s Practitioner, you will:
Care and Documentation Management:
- Review and update care plans, risk assessments (RAMPs), and Positive Behaviour Plans to ensure they reflect the current needs of each young person.
- Oversee and update Pathfinders weekly to track progress.
- Ensure all health and medical events are documented in sufficient detail.
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager and social workers to maintain comprehensive records of each child’s history, promoting their identity.
- Liaise with external professionals (e.g., schools, social services) and record relevant information.
- Prepare for and attend reviews and meetings as required.
Team and Shift Management:
- Conduct effective shift evaluations to reflect on shift performance.
- Oversee the safe operation of the home during shifts, actively engaging with young people as part of the shift plan.
- Organise daily operations and manage staff delegation to ensure smooth shifts and efficient team performance.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience: Recent experience of working in a children’s homes environment with the ability to work weekends.
- Skills: Good observation and assessment skills with the ability to understand and enjoy challenges.
