Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with industry-leading B2B media company insights across various sectors, including Food and Pharmaceuticals. They produce leading print, digital and global events that unite industry experts.

As an Account Director, your role will involve leading, identifying and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Connect with clients through cold calling, follow-ups on incoming leads, and exploring potential new revenue opportunities for the publication.

Key responsibilities of the Account Director - B2B Publication:

  • Maintain and enhance existing revenue channels while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and key players.
  • Stay informed about client offerings, market spending patterns, and client investments.
  • Understand and align with brand, product, and individual targets, implementing strategies to achieve them.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations to maintain strong relationships and drive business forward.
  • Ensure smooth and professional delivery of services, resolving any issues internally and externally.
  • Provide clients with detailed performance reports, identifying future opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Attend relevant industry exhibitions, conferences, and events, including potential international travel.
  • Lead by example and ensure the team effectively uses CRM systems to capture accurate data and manage reports, utilising this information to make informed decisions.

Key requirements of the Account Director - B2B Publication:

  • Ideally having 5 + years' experience in B2B media sales across a comprehensive product portfolio, print, digital, events, or conferences.
  • Has operated as a Senior Manager/Director level
  • You must have experience lending to more Business Development than just Account Management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in driving business and profit growth.
  • Has worked alongside other Account Manager's to drive their results
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strong time management skills.
  • Expertise in building and leading effective relationships to ensure timely and accurate information sharing, between internal and external relationships.
  • Keeps up to date with new procedures, media, industry knowledge, and legislation.
