The Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote the development of our pupils. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure all children achieve their potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values creativity, passion, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils, following the National Curriculum.
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and ensure effective teaching strategies.
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
• Support the emotional and social development of pupils, fostering independence and confidence.

• A qualified teacher with QTS.
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring children.
• Experienced in teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1), with a sound understanding of Year 2 curriculum requirements.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate young learners.
