The St Tudwals, in the heart of the busy tourist destination village of Abersochis being fully refurbished and is due to re open in March. It's a very busy public house and has been beautifully redesigned. We need an enthusiastic, experienced person to come and join our wonderful kitchen team to deliver an exciting concise menu at pace.

While previous experience would be valued, a great attitude and approach to this role is enough as full training and support will be provided.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the kitchen is tidy, clean and hygienic at all times
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear uniform as per company policy
Assist in preparation of food as required by the Chef
Undertake the cleaning schedule as per Food Safety Manual
Ensure surfaces on all units are cleared of all used crockery and cutlery after meals and returned to the kitchen for washing
Check sub-kitchens daily and replenish supplies as required
At the end of each shift ensure cleaning schedules have been undertaken and cleaning forms signed
Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy. All bins to be emptied at the end of each shift
Undertake statutory training as directed by the Chef
Generic Core Duties
Positively promote the restaurant through personal conduct both within and outside working hours
Ensure that you have read and understood all relevant company policies and procedures and that you comply with these at all times
Attend and participate in all training sessions and staff meetings as required
Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues at all times
Any other reasonable instruction from the Chef, which is within your area of competence.
