Job Role:
To produce design and detailed drawings ensuring projects provide well-engineered cost-effective solutions working closely with all stakeholders to devise technically astute and commercially viable applications for products

Duties & Responsibilities
* Produce detailed Electrical and Mechanical designs, including schematics, LV distribution, lighting, small power & data, fire alarm, security layouts.
* Support the Design/Engineering team to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
* Undertake calculations in accordance with the latest British Standards.
* Make steps to minimise expenses and non-chargeable costs.
* Attend design team meetings, internally and externally with clients.
* Communicate design solutions to internal stake holders and external customers.
* Participate in effective presentations to external organisations, clients and peer groups.
* Manage task duration to ensure deadlines are met.
* Assist the lead engineers in collating and disseminating project information through the project team.
* Use software such as AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, Microsoft Office and Revit (not critical).
* Making sure the design fully aligns with the employers' requirements, British Standards, and applicable regulations
