We are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing team. Idelaly you would be an Audit & Accounts Senior, looking to move away form audit, into a purely accounts focused position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a strong background in financial reporting, statutory accounts, and consolidations to take the next step in their career within a highly respected and forward-thinking firm.

Prepare statutory accounts, financial reports, consolidations, and disclosures in compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102), and the Charities SORP.
Support the audit team by addressing client queries related to financial statements.
Assist in the finalisation of statutory financial statements as part of the audit process.
Serve as a primary client contact, identifying and addressing key areas of judgment in financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Stay informed on regulatory updates, ensuring compliance with industry standards and CPD requirements.
Provide expert financial reporting guidance and ad hoc support to clients.
Oversee and mentor the financial reporting team, fostering professional growth and development.
Deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines, ensuring adherence to professional and firm-wide standards.
Contribute to the firm's culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and best practices.

Requirements

Financial Reporting Accountant Maidstone £45,000-£58,000

ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with strong technical expertise.
Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and consolidations.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and Charities SORP.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service.
