Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support - Year 3 - Haringey - ASAP Start

A Primary School in Haringey is looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with additional learning needs. This is a long-term role, starting ASAP, and is ideal for a patient, proactive, and experienced Teaching Assistant who can support both academic and emotional development.

Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:

Work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil, providing tailored academic and emotional support.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Implement strategies to support learning, behaviour, and social development.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in KS2.
Experience working with SEN, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties.
A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
