Supply Desk is seeking a highly qualified and experienced History Teacher to join our team in Buckingham (Buckinghamshire). This full-time role will require you to be adaptable and confident in teaching across all key stages in a secondary school.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Secondary History Teacher with a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The ideal candidate will possess a love for history and be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that contributes to the overall success of the history department.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive history lessons to secondary school students.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal development.
Plan and implement effective teaching strategies, catering to diverse learning needs and styles.
Incorporate innovative and technology-driven methods to enhance the learning experience.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to the success of the history department.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative school community.
Stay informed about educational developments and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
Uphold high standards of behaviour, discipline, and professionalism in line with school policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desired but not essential).
Specialisation in History or a related subject.
Passion for History and continuous personal knowledge development.
