Profile – Spray Painter

My client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty industrial machinery used across the globe.

Job Role – Spray Painter

Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Spray Painter shall accurately complete the painting of bareshaft pumps, electric and diesel mounted open sets, silenced units and associated components used in the manufacture of the company product range, using approved industry standard painting equipment and application procedures.

Duties – Spray Painter

• The masking up, removal of masking materials and painting and paint repair of products ensuring the paint is to the highest standard of quality achievable with the equipment available.
• Achievement of the build schedule timescales agreed with the Production Supervisor(s).
• At all times work constructively within the Fitting Shop and Final Fitting Shop teams to identify and
• progress problems impacting the product build or schedule.
• Maintenance of the paint shop equipment and 6S initiatives.
• Ordering of paint and paint stock control.
• Maintenance of the paint store in a safe and tidy manner.
• Work as part of a flexible team to ensure the overall build schedule is achieved.
• Other tasks requested and agreed with the Supervisor.

Experience and Qualifications – Spray Painter

• Experience painting in manufacturing environment

Candidates who are currently a Painter, Sprayer Painter or Paint Technician could be suitable for this role.
