My client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty industrial machinery used across the globe.
Job Role - Production Engineer
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Production Engineer shall manage the process of recently developed product and component designs into the production stage.
Duties – Production Engineer
• Generate process planning routes for component parts.
• Ensure the correct structure and base data are maintained on the ERP system.
• Provide production expertise to other departments, e.g. Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Operations.
Experience and Qualifications – Production Engineer
• Engineering qualification in relevant discipline
• Knowledge of fitting, machining and fabrication
• Tooling and equipment selection and design
• Ability to undertake operation analysis (efficiency studies and cost reduction exercises)
Candidates who are currently a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical, Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer or Technician could be suitable for this role.
