Profile – Technical Documentation Administrator

My client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty industrial machinery used across the globe.

Job Role – Technical Documentation Administrator

Reporting to the QA Manager the Technical Admin Support Engineer shall provide support in the creation / update of technical information to include assembly work instructions and manufacturing supporting documentation.

Duties – Technical Documentation Administrator

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation that meets the business standards
• Gain an understanding of products, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content
• Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience
• Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
• Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop. Organise, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.

Experience/Qualifications – Technical Documentation Administrator

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Experience creating and writing technical documents

Candidates who are currently a Project Support Assistant, Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Technician Administrator, Technical Writer and Assistant Project Manager could be suitable for this role.
