MEP Estimator

My client is looking to recruit an accomplished Estimator who will be part of the Commercial group and support the Operations and Sales Teams by producing accurate and compliant quotations for our clients.

Producing accurate estimates and forecasts for the design, installation and maintenance of MEP systems and more specifically Smoke Ventilation Systems.

• Writing structured quotations for clients.

• Ability to read and interpret site drawings/reports accurately.

• Keep up to date with knowledge of industry legislation.

 Preparation of bills of materials and quotations from client specifications.

• Ability to interpret client’s requirements accurately.

• Build successful working relationships with clients and internal team

You will be expected to produce accurate quotations for clients.and possess the ability to read and interpret site drawings/reports accurately whilst keeping up to date with knowledge of all relevant industry legislation.

Othe key duties will be the preparation of bills of materials and quotations from client specifications and the accurate interpretation of client’s requirements accurately. 

You will be an experienced Estimator ideally in construction of manufacturing and be familiar with compiling rates from first principles, possess excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Other key attributes will include excellent customer relations skills and strong IT knowledge including a familiarity with Microsoft software including Excel.
