Role Description:

Seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Nottingham office with a primary focus on refurbishment projects within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing projects, overseeing costs, and ensuring the successful delivery of refurbishment initiatives. There will be an emphasis on building and leading a team to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of quantity surveying for refurbishment projects.

Oversee cost control, budget management, and financial reporting.

Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections as required.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Lead and mentor junior team members as the team expands.

Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in quantity surveying, particularly within refurbishment projects.

Familiarity with social housing projects and regulations is highly desirable.

Competent in managing own workload, including site visits and remote working.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

Location and Working Conditions:

Office location: Nottingham, conveniently situated near Junction 25 of the M1.

Option for occasional remote work, with flexibility in managing your own diary.

Site visits and surveys may be required as part of the role.
