Cafferty Group are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start in Radlett, WD7.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and sending our enquiries.
- Preparing contract documents.
- Monitoring site progress against forecasts, identifying shortcomings and issues.
- Checking and validating variations in a timely manner.
- Providing information to be included in cost reports.
- Prepare, Manage and monitor project budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifestyle.
- Prepare and evaluate tenders, bills of quantities and contracts.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage and track project expenditures and ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and provide financial updates to senior management.
- Experience with estimating.
- Manage variations and changes to the project scope.
The Requirements:
- BA (Hons) Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a QS role.
- Must come from a Civils background.
- Strong experience with Civils and Groundworks packages.
- Full understanding of Microsoft office.
- Strong financial acumen with proven track record of managing project finances.
- Must be a UK resident.
