Cafferty Group are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for an immediate start in Radlett, WD7.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and sending our enquiries.
  • Preparing contract documents.
  • Monitoring site progress against forecasts, identifying shortcomings and issues.
  • Checking and validating variations in a timely manner.
  • Providing information to be included in cost reports.
  • Prepare, Manage and monitor project budgets.
  • Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifestyle.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, bills of quantities and contracts.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage and track project expenditures and ensure accurate cost reporting.
  • Conduct regular cost reviews and provide financial updates to senior management.
  • Experience with estimating.
  • Manage variations and changes to the project scope.

The Requirements:

  • BA (Hons) Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a QS role.
  • Must come from a Civils background.
  • Strong experience with Civils and Groundworks packages.
  • Full understanding of Microsoft office.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven track record of managing project finances.
  • Must be a UK resident.
