Job Summary - Ambulance Care Assistant

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistants to provide safe transport for patients who are frail or require specialized care, assisting them to and from hospitals, treatment centres, and other healthcare facilities.

If you have experience in caring for individuals and a strong background in customer service and communication, we would love to hear from you! This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and sometimes discretion. A sense of humour and local knowledge of the area are additional assets. Working as an ACA is a varied and rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Main Duties of the Role

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be transporting non-emergency patients between healthcare facilities, social care locations, and private residences. This role calls for professionalism, a caring attitude, and teamwork. - Work in pairs or independently, operating a variety of vehicles. - Night shifts may be required for this role.

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving license with at least one year of driving experience. -
  • A maximum of 3 penalty points may be considered for minor driving offences.
