The Opportunity

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils in Years 3 to 6. You will be supported by a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and will play a vital role in creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised, interactive lessons that meet the diverse needs of each pupil

  • Encourage independence, self-expression, and confident decision-making

  • Work collaboratively with TAs and other staff to maintain a supportive classroom culture

  • Use your creativity and experience to help shape a curriculum that excites and motivates young learners

What We're Looking For:

  • A fully qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong understanding of SEN and ASD

  • Proven experience in supporting autistic pupils, ideally in a specialist or mainstream setting

  • A proactive, patient, and innovative approach to teaching

  • Commitment to creating a respectful and empowering learning experience
