Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this luxury travel agency who are seeking an experienced Luxury Travel Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Luxury Travel Sales Manager you will manage this high-end retail office based in Hertfordshire. You will possess exceptional sales skills, a passion for luxury travel, creativity, a positive attitude, proactivity, and precision. Demonstrating excellent knowledge of travel destinations and consistently meeting the service level expectations of our high-net-worth clients.

Previous sales experience within a travel agency or tour operator isessentialto be considered for this role.

The role:

  • Driving sales and converting travel enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Assisting with the day to day running of the retail office
  • Motivating your sales team and providing support and suggestions when required to help them maximise sales
  • Assisting with developing local marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive sales and build relationships
  • Taking control of the company social media channels

You will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a sales role within the travel industry(essential)
  • Excellent all round understanding of the sales and commercial aspects of booking holidays
  • A strong track record of delivering sales results and working to sales targets
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop a sales team
  • Passion for delivering outstanding personal service and willing to go the extra mile for our clients
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
