Simple Recruitment are looking for an Installer for our client based in Radstock to join their team on a permanent basis.

The use of signage is thousands of years old and is still just as prevalent today. It is a multi-purpose tool that can draw attention to promotions, warn against prohibited areas, convey important information, and build brand awareness.As an Installer, you will be pivotal in providing essential signage to local companies.

The JobIn a nutshell, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and initial testing of our client’s equipment, systems, and products. This involves traveling to sites, ensuring installations meet industry standards, and providing basic training to users.

Key responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create designs for products, models, displays, packaging, and installations using cardboard and other recyclable materials.
• Assemble and mount cardboard, hardware, cables, and other components.
• Conduct site surveys to determine installation requirements and readiness.
• Perform initial tests to ensure proper functionality of installed systems.
• Explore and experiment with different types of cardboard, paperboard, and sustainable materials to achieve desired results.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements during installations.

Key Requirements:

• Previous exhibition experience.
• You’ll need to play well with others as you will be coordinating with engineering teams to address complex problems.
• Must have a safety-first approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Cardboard engineering experience is desirable.

Salary£30,000 per annum (dependant on experience). Overtime rate: time and a half.

Hours37.5 hours per week with overtime. You must be flexible depending on when jobs come in.
