Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Radstock, who are actively recruiting for Sales Administrator on a temporary basis. This role could lead to a permanent role for the right person.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 0800-1730

The role will be wide-ranging and will involve the following:

  • Work closely with the sales team to effectively communicate with customers the best options for their construction projects.
  • Pricing, quote & follow up of new and existing work for Ready Mix Concrete, Aggregates and Asphalt within agreed guidelines.
  • Exceed customer service expectations with timely and accurate responses to enquiries.
  • Receive purchase orders from customers and add to the sales order system.
  • Order Checking and Reconciliation.
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Provide cover in other areas of the business when required.
  • Collaborate with the accounts department to resolve customer credit disputes.
  • Checking haulier & supplier invoices.
  • Daily Reports on Excel and Invoice checking.
  • General Administration Duties as and when required including the filing of Sales and Purchase orders.

In the absence of the Office Manager, you may be required to do the banking, sorting incoming mail and manage their emails.

All other aspects of the role will require training on internal systems so no other experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ability to provide the highest quality customer service.
  • Attention to Detail, accurate and possess good communication skills.
  • Standard education including at least a C grade in English and Maths.
  • Friendly, professional and confident telephone manner.
  • experience with Microsoft office packages, in particular, Excel, Word and Outlook and be fully Computer Literate
  • Good telephone manner
