Job Title: Office Assistant / Administrator

Location: Rainham, Essex.

Salary: Depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 17.30pm

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires a full-time permanent Office Assistant /Administrator for immediate start. Working at their Head office based in Rainham, Essex.

Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK

The Role:

  • General office/administration tasks
  • Basic Administrative duties including emails, post, scanning & filing documents
  • Answering the main switchboard and directing calls
  • Numeric data entry
  • Other adhoc administrative duties
  • Full training will be given on in house computer systems.

The Candidate:

  • Proven The ideal candidate must be reliable.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Someone who has a great eye for detail, is highly organised with their approach and         comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You should be able work under pressure with the ability to prioritise workloads and multitask.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with people at all levels
  • Ability to work in a team environment
