The hours of work will be Monday to Friday NIGHT shift 21.45 -6.00 with earlier finish on Friday. However training will be provided on rotating day shift: 6.00 14.00 and 14.00 -22.00. Candidates are expected to work day shifts during training. After completing training you will be moved permanently on nights.
Pay rate £15.28 p/h during training on days and £ 16.67 p/h once transferred on nights.
Duties:
Ensuring the efficiency of the production line
Staking product on pallets
Manual handling
Follow good health and safety standards
Overseeing the quality of the product
Controlling packaging waste
Ensuring cleanliness of the production line machinery
Ensuring all paperwork relevant to the product is completed to the company specification
Rectifying any minor breakdowns of line machinery
Assisting Engineers on major breakdowns when required
Expectations:
Previous manufacturing background is essential
Must be able to read and follow the instruction
Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills
