Key Responsibilities:
- Mentoring: offering a first line of support for technical issues to other engineers and assisting on larger projects.
- Emergency and Reactive Call-Outs:Swiftly respond to emergency and reactive call-outs, addressing drainage issues for a diverse range of clients.
- Advanced Techniques and Tools:Utilise High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling and CCTV Surveys equipment to efficiently resolve drainage problems.
- Basic Plumbing:Perform small plumbing works such as removing toilets and urinals, replacing isolation valve or toilet components.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience:Proven experience in the drainage industry resolving internal and external blockages and basic plumbing experience minimum of 5+ experience within Drainage environment.
- Technical Competence:Experience utilising Electro mechanical and CCTV equipment as well as performing basic plumbing tasks.
- Driving License:Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Punctuality:Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.
Working Hours:
- Regular Hours:Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Night Shifts:4 nights a month.
- Weekends:1 weekend a month.
- On-Call Duty:1 call-out week every 10 weeks.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary:£40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Overtime Rates:1/3 additional pay from Monday to Friday
- Double-Time Pay:Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
