In addition to the high-volume existing business, we are also developing new production lines and processes for a range of new products including hydrogen power for transport, electric vehicles and the next generation of hybrid vehicles and trucks.

We are recruiting for the position of a CNC Turning Operator/Machinist, to set and run high precision and high value parts, to extremely tight tolerances.

Responsibilities will include:

Replacing and setting cutting tools

Selecting and changing programmes as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.

Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.

Recording measurements on computer using SPC control, and monitoring OEE

Required Skills and Experience:

Ideally the candidate should have 2 3 years experience as a CNC machinist ( experience with operating systems such as Fanuc a bonus) or have completed an apprenticeship in CNC machinery (Minimum Level 3)

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels;

Work pattern:

Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern (06:00 to 14:00 /14:00 to 22:00 / 22:00 to 06:00)
