Our client is searching for a dedicated Planner/Driver to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll blend planning and scheduling with driving responsibilities, gaining firsthand experience that makes a real difference.

As a Planner/Driver, you will:

  • Efficiently schedule and plan routes for drivers.
  • Brief drivers on their assignments to ensure clarity.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive assigned routes, gaining valuable insights into the logistics process.
  • Job Details:

  • Position: Planner/Driver (Category C)
  • Pay: £17.75 per hour (standard) / £26.65 per hour (overtime)
  • Additional Pay: £25.00 daily attendance bonus
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Saturdays on an ad-hoc basis)
  • Requirements:

  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit.
  • Efficient scheduling and planning skills, preferably with local area knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
