About School

This Secondary School in Rainham offers a range of extracurricular activities, providing students with opportunities to explore their interests and talents outside the classroom. Currently, this school's Creative Technology faculty includes Design & Technology, Construction, Food Preparation & Nutrition, and Art. Applications from specialised educators with prior experience instructing and directing these courses are encouraged.

This is a Fulltime and a permanent role starting as soon as possible

Requirements

  • Must hold QTS/QTLS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Experience of teaching across both KS3 and KS4

Responsibilities

  • Lead curriculum development in the faculty.
  • Equip students with the digital literacy, critical thinking skills, and creative confidence to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
  • Have an awareness of how Children and young people learn, develop and progress through life stages and events
  • Ensure that the work and growth of the faculty and the teaching practices of the instructors reflect the school's strategic objectives.
  • Hold personal accountability for maintaining a focus on improving the experience of employees and students by words, deeds, and behaviour.
