Randstad Education is looking for an exceptional, dynamic Head of Creative Technology Faculty . The successful candidate will have the drive, determination and motivation to inspire both staff and students as well as possess the ability to deliver an outstanding educational experience that will make a significant difference to the lives of our students.

This is a Full-time and a permanent position required as soon as possible.

About School

This School caters to students aged 11 to 16, offering a curriculum designed to unlock each student's potential. At this school, the faculty members that teach creative technology include Design & Technology, Construction, Food Preparation & Nutrition, and Art. Teachers with expertise in teaching and directing these areas are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Must hold QTS/QTLS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references
  • Oversee faculty data and information in order to document, track, assess, and report
  • Experience of teaching across both KS3 and KS4 either in your current position or during teaching practice

Responsibilities

  • Use appropriate teaching and classroom management strategies to motivate Children and enable each to progress appropriately
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and available KS4 qualification pathways
  • Develop a cutting-edge curriculum that blends traditional artistic practices with emerging technologies
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the faculty
  • Create a well organised, stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in and contribute to faculty/Academy's extra-curricular programme.
