Your Role:

As an HGV Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the fleet, ensuring vehicles and trailers stay in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HGVs and trailers
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT tests
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Attending vehicle breakdowns (work van provided)
  • Following all safety regulations and procedures

What They're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician
  • Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 preferred)
  • Your own tools (some provided)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with roller brake testers and mobile column lifts (training available)
